Tryll Reggoh / Carbon Thought Print (Bonus Edition)

A 4 track leftfield/idm ep (16m 33s) — released November 12th 2012 on Bomb Shop

Cru Servers is the audio-visual collaborative project of Glasgow-based brothers Rickie and Jamie McNeill, a duo who individually appear under a plethora of monikers including Fox Gut Daata, Perfumed Head, Burnt Altar and Voices Like Bones. The sounds made are a kind of Poundshop psychedelia, where permo flashbacks bring half memories of Marshall, Theo and Juan, and hardware remains their master and guide. The influences are diverse, and the resulting sound is both large-system-functional and highly original.

Closely associated with other players on the Glasgow electronica scene such as Dam Mantle and Mother Ganga, the duo's angular proto-techno constructions can regularly be found lurching out of the bass bins at Glasgow's Stereo Bar, Negativnights and other thoroughly underground haunts.

From the dubby 4/4 vibes of Tryll Reggoh to the hallucinogenic, slo-mo machinemusik of Juice in the Ruins, this is an explosive debut. Watch this space...

The super-limited 7" vinyl version of the release(only 300 for the world), with hand-made packaging created by Cru Servers, comes with a download code for the digital version which contains the two extra tracks.
